For the evaluation of demyelination, neuroinflammation, and pyroptosis severity, immunofluorescence, western blotting, Luxol fast blue staining, quantitative real-time PCR, and neurobehavioral tests were applied. Further investigation into the contribution of pyroptosis to LPC-induced demyelination was undertaken using a pyroptosis inhibitor.
